Joanne has more than 18 years experience in the field of surrogacy, including 14 years facilitating surrogate
parenting relationships, and the personal experience of having been a Gestational surrogate four times, and egg donor three times. Over the years, Joanne has established a solid reputation among many professionals, parents and surrogates with whom she has worked.
Surrogacy in Canada has been happening for a very long time, but, as with many issues dealing with infertility, has been kept very quiet. Certainly in the last few years it has come to the forefront for many reasons. One being the media, hopefully putting a positive spin on things, and secondly the Canadian government, who from time to time think that they should pass some sort of legislation.
